How do I clean and descale the Skullpot toilet / urinal correctly?
To keep your Skullpot toilet or urinal fresh for a long time, we recommend regular cleaning with mild, skin-friendly cleaning agents.
Use soft cloths or fine-pored sponges to protect the coating, and avoid aggressive cleaners or abrasive materials. For optimal care, our specially developed Skullpot cleaning set is available.
For light limescale deposits, use gentle descaling with natural agents such as diluted citric acid. Disinfection is only necessary if there is a concrete risk of infection – in that case, use alcohol-based disinfectants only.
What standard are Skullpot toilets installed to?
Wall-hung toilets follow a globally uniform standard, so Skullpot toilets integrate seamlessly with all common installation systems.
The Skullpot toilet follows the established Geberit standard for wall-hung toilets, which makes integration into existing sanitary systems easy.
What standard are Skullpot urinals installed to?
There is no fixed standard for urinals. This also applies to the small and large Skullpot urinal. You'll find the exact technical data in the respective product description.
What installation material comes with the Skullpot toilet?
Due to individual requirements, no installation material is included. Your plumber brings the required material.
The scope of delivery includes:
- The toilet itself
- The matching lid with soft-close mechanism
Additional material required for professional installation:
- Connection pipe: for connecting water supply and drain.
- Cistern: a cistern (surface-mounted or concealed) is required. For concealed installation, a flush plate is also needed.
Tip: We recommend using Geberit components to ensure optimal compatibility and functionality.
What installation material comes with the Skullpot urinal?
The urinal and the automatic flush including IR sensor are included in the scope of delivery.
Additional mounting material, such as fixing screws and other installation components, must be provided by your plumber depending on local conditions.
Can I install it myself?
Installation should always be carried out by a qualified plumber to ensure professional mounting and optimal functionality. The plumber also provides the necessary additional material – water supply and drain pipes as well as mounting material appropriate to the specific conditions on site.
Can the toilet lid be reordered?
Yes, the lid can of course be ordered separately. Since it naturally takes the most wear, you can conveniently reorder it online at any time.
Replacing the lid is extremely easy – it can be swapped with a single click.
To keep the toilet lid intact for as long as possible, we recommend attaching a transparent rubber stopper where it touches the wall or cistern when opened. Available at your hardware store.
Is there a floor-mounted version of the Skullpot toilet?
Currently the Skullpot toilet is only available for wall mounting, but a floor-mounted version is being planned.
What standards are the toilets and urinals certified to?
Our urinals and toilets are tested and certified to the following standards:
Water splashes onto the toilet lid when flushing
If the cistern releases more than 4.5 litres per flush, the water volume is set too high, which can cause water to splash onto the lid.
Your plumber can fix the issue and install a flow restrictor if necessary.
