What the guarantee covers
The guarantee applies to all new goods purchased via skullpot.com: toilet seats, urinals, washbasins, dispensers and accessories.
Duration and territorial scope
24 months from the day you received the goods. The guarantee applies worldwide in all countries we deliver to. A repair or replacement does not extend the guarantee period and does not restart it.
What is covered
We guarantee that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship. If such a defect occurs within the guarantee period, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion — free of charge, including shipping.
This includes, for example:
- Cracks in the material without external impact
- Detachment of the surface coating
- Defective hinges or fastenings under intended use
- Paint flaking not caused by cleaning or use
What is not covered
- Normal signs of use and wear
- Damage caused by improper installation, use or cleaning, in particular by abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents
- Damage caused by force, falls, impact or transport after delivery
- Modifications to the product or repair attempts by third parties
- Slight colour variations between different materials such as ceramic and polypropylene, and between production batches
- Damage caused by frost, extreme heat or chemicals outside the usual sanitary range
How to make a guarantee claim
Write to us at info@skullpot.com with your order number, a brief description of the problem and, if possible, one or two photos.
We will get back to you within two working days and tell you how to proceed. As a rule, we will send you a return label — we cover the return shipping costs in a guarantee case. Once we receive the goods, we will inspect them and repair or replace them within 14 days.
You do not need the original proof of purchase: your order number is sufficient, we will find the purchase in our system.
Relationship to your statutory rights
This guarantee is a voluntary additional service from us. It exists alongside your statutory rights and does not restrict them.
Irrespective of this guarantee, you have the statutory warranty rights in the event of defective goods. These run for at least two years from receipt of the goods, and exercising them is free of charge for you. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country apply in addition.
You decide for yourself whether to rely on the guarantee or on your statutory rights.
